Leadership

  • Dr Nikita Ved MBE FRSA

    Is an Executive Co-Chair. She is a Fellow at the University of Oxford and is a prominent young scientist with an expertise in diabetes and cardiovascular disease. She is a 1928 co-founder and well-versed in public health and science communication.

  • Kiran Kaur Manku FRSA

    Is an Exective Co-Chair. She is a University of Oxford DPhil candidate. Her expertise is in research methodology, ethics, mental health, and public policy. She is a 1928 co-founder with experience collaborating with Harvard, the Pentagon, and WHO.

  • Dr Seema Anand

    Is a story-teller and an expert in Indian ‘Itihasa’. She focuses on women’s narratives and is an expert of Indic texts such as the Kama Sutra.

UK-India Relations

  • Lord Karan Bilimoria

    Is the Chancellor of the University of Birmingham and founder of Cobra Beer. He is a prominent British Indian statesman.

  • Baroness Sandip Verma

    Is one of the most senior British Indian Parliamentarians. She has held several Ministerial posts and is currently the regional Chair of UN Women. She champions causes such as tackling violence against females and empowering women.

  • Shashi Tharoor

    Is a seasoned Statesman and a former senior UN Diplomat. He is also an esteemed author and has written heavily on decolonisation.

  • Lord Meghnad Desai

    Is a senior peer and economist. He is also a member of the National Secular Society and Professor Emeritus at the LSE.

  • Dr Sridhar Venkatapuram

    Is the Director and Lecturer of Public Health at Kings College London. His academic training spans Brown, Harvard under Amartya Sen, and Cambridge where he subsequently lectured.

  • Dr Caesar Atuire

    Is a Philosopher and Bioethicist at the University of Oxford and the University of Ghana. He served the Vatican for two decades and has a wealth of expertise in theology, and deconstructing colonial narratives.

  • Prof Jagtar Singh OBE

    Is the Trust Chair of the NHS Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership.

  • Nikhwat Khan Marawat

    Is the co-founder of the mental health charity, the Delicate Mind.

  • Shani Dhanda

    Shani Dhanda is an award-winning disability specialist, listed as one of the UK's most influential disabled people.

  • Jasvir Singh OBE

    Is a founding member and Chair of City Sikhs. Additionally, he is the Vice-Chair of the Faith Forums in London and is an established family barrister, social commentator, and faith activist.

    Is the foremost authority on faith leadership in the UK, he is also the Chair of Labour Indians.

    Is a trained journalist and soldier who advocates for police reform and public service.
